Our Story

2024Public company

A platform built across the battery value chain.

Solidion was formed around a portfolio of battery and advanced-materials technologies developed over years of research and commercialization work by Honeycomb Battery Company and related technology organizations.

That foundation gives Solidion a broad intellectual-property portfolio across multiple layers of the battery value chain. Rather than focusing on a single chemistry or component, the company is building a platform of technologies designed to address the performance, supply-chain, safety, and manufacturing requirements shaping the future of energy storage.

Solidion became a publicly traded company in 2024 following the business combination of Honeycomb Battery Company and Nubia Brand International Corp. Today, the company is focused on translating its technology portfolio into commercial products, partnerships, licensing opportunities, and next-generation battery platforms.
